I'm 72 yrs old, married, with 3 children, all now grown up, and three grand-daughters and two grandsons. I qualified with a degree in Physics, and after 3 years in Manufacturing Industry changed to IT, first with IBM for 22 years and then with Sema Group UK. I took an early retirement option in 1999 and ran my own Outsource consultancy for 8 years, before finally winding it up in 2007. Now I have more time to do what I want, to be with my expanding family, and of course, grow my plants and see where they live in nature. 

I'm Chairman of the Mammillaria Society, and am a National Collection holder for Mammillaria. I do grow other genera as well,  though with space at a premium,  there is always pressure on these. I like to grow from seed, so usually have some seedling plants available.
